Problem is on Myguide do the folder and files go in SD card root or in Navigator folder or both

Your bootloader version seems uncomplete; normally it consists of 5 numbers (like 5.5022). I suggest installing the NC 8.562SE, you can get it here: http://www.navitotal.com/forums/showthread.php?942-Navcore-V8. Then, make a folder called 'Config' and put it in the root of your TT. Then, make a textfile called 'setconfig.txt' and copy the following text into the textfile:

A Config folder is not needed for only 1 txt file. The setconfig.txt can be copied directly to the root of your device.

There are several lines missing from the top of your posted ttgo.bif.

You might not find a setconfig file if your backup navcore isn't a SE version.
