i didnt really understand it i had a tomtom one b4 with tts, i copied all the files from that 1 to the other one i got theres sound but no reading street names?
So the computer voices work, except for reading streetnames? In the menu of TT, under the voice settings/preferences, there is an option to read streetnames. Maybe it is turned off. Try to enable it.
no it doesnt even show the computer voices under the change voices, when i updated from tt home it did download 'samantha' but i dont see it in the voice selections
What NC do you have? And what's in the setconfig.txt file (if you have one)? You got the Vocalizer voices from TT HOME, could you try one of mine and look of those work?
I have 2 gadgets First is a TT One V3 (no SD card) which is a Linux system and the other is a Myguide 3100 (has SD card limit 2Gb) under a wince 5 op system
Standard navcores wont work only PDA so restricted to Navigator 7
Keith, I think Vocalizer will only work on the TT ONE v3. Put the VocalizerTTS folder in the root of the TT. Make sure you're using an SE NC (like 8.562SE, 8.417SE or 8.544SE for example).
