TomTom ONE XL Crash Help

Postby sooty1892 » Mon Mar 21, 2011 6:04 pm

Hi
I couple of days ago I bought some maps for America and got them working on a 4GB SDHC with my TomTom ONE XL via a navcore. Now, whenever I turn it on, the TomTom 'welcome' screen comes on then it turns off automatically.
I've now deleted everything off the memory card and the internal memory so can somebody please give me some step by step instructions on how to put the maps onto the TomTom One XL with the memory card.
Thanks

1. There was no need to delete anything on internal or the card.

2. The exact same way that I told you on 3/19.

Hi,
I have a ONE XL, with 1 GB built in memory, and a card slot.

"DeviceName=TomTom ONE XL
DeviceVersionHW=ONE XL
DeviceSerialNumber=
DeviceUniqueID=
RamDiskVersion=20071121
BootLoaderVersion=53026
LinuxVersion=2327
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=7162
ApplicationVersion=8492"

I want to use the truck version, what shall I do? Put, the map to a memory card, and upgrade the navcore on the TT, or put everything - map, navcore - to the memory card? Remove everything from the unit, or not? Help me, please.

Download Pre-Patched Working Dump 8.398 for X00 & ONE XL & 8.398 Dump Instructions. Download Europe TRUCK 865.3255 from Latest Europe TRUCK Maps

Follow the instructions. Put it all on a card. Leave the unit alone.

yes but I don't on whether I need to install all of the software onto the internal memory or onto the memory card, or part on each.
Also when I put the navcore onto the memory card it loads up then the screen freezes every time I turn it on!

Put everything on the card. Navcore, map & a copy of your units ttgo.bif file.
