Tomtom ONE, europe truck, problem with everything on card

Fri Dec 14, 2012 2:02 pm

Okay, who can help me see the error of my ways here?

I have a Tomtom ONE...

Code:
GetMy-CFG v2.53
===============

DeviceID=XXXXXXXXX
DeviceVersionHW=ONE
DeviceSerialNumber=XXXXXXXXXXX

ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=6520
TTSystem 5004205 bytes, modified 03/12/2010 20:43
PNDNavigator 6795416 bytes, modified 03/12/2010 20:43
BootLoaderVersion=505
RDS/TMC 'mctx.dat' size 236 bytes
NederlandPostalVersion=860
GreatBritainPostalVersion=860

# - - - - -  End  - - - - - #

It seems to run from a card only ie. only when you pop a card in will the TT boot otherwise it will ask for you to insert a card. I am trying to use the truck map. The memory card is sdhc 4gb class 4. I put Dump One XL 8.398.rar on the card (as it is a 32mb device), the map (Europe Truck 900_4612) and copied the ttgo.bif file from card to card, used the latest FA 2.12.12, but the card will not boot at all.

Can anybody see a problem? Thanks as per usual :)

I see the problem that you ask about quite a few devices in a short period of time.
This leaves me to conclude you might do it for business.
Either way it is time for you to read the available info in the forum and to learn.
In your posting I see these problems:
1. No idea where you found the Navcore
2. Currently there is a V6 NC running
3. You still don't post all the info we would need to help
4. You do not even bother to check the available threads in regards to your problem, you just ask...

There is no way that the unit will ever boot with B/L 505. A 4GB card requires B/L 5.5015 or higher.

I would avoid reaching conclusions in the future then as you're not very good at it.

Either way it is time for you to read the available info in the forum and to learn.

The first thing I do is search. I didn't find anything that gave me any answers, hence the post.

Is it not one of yours?

2. Currently there is a V6 NC running

Sorry, no idea what you mean.

3. You still don't post all the info we would need to help

And that would be?

4. You do not even bother to check the available threads in regards to your problem, you just ask...

And you know this how? Like I said above, best you don't jump to conclusions in the future.

1. How would I know since you do did not post the details?
2. According to your first posting this is what runs on the device!
3. If you really did a proper search, apart from the time you are active in the forum, you would know what details we need as the same question is asked about 1000 in the forum ;)
4. I know this because:
a) there is still a V6 NC on the device
b) if you would have used my version, you would have read (and followed) the instructions provided resulting in a working device

I don't jump to conclusions I only state the obvoius!
Several different devices over a short period of time but no real idea what you are doing.
Anyone offering updates to friends would do it based on knowledge not based on having a non working device for several days.
Since no further questions to any previous devices came up again the conclusion is the devices are no longer in your possesion.
So again: I conclude whatever I think fits the case ;)
