Tomtom one help for installing new map

Hello,

I'm new and find it very confusing to install new maps with all these terms and versions (navcore, meta, 7x,8x,9x etcetera). My brother gave me a tomtom one with west-europe and said he wanted Turkey maps too. I'm scared to make mistakes/brick the device since the device isn't mine and he wants it back very soon.

Plz can anyone explain which maps i have to download and write the steps down or give me a link with the steps? Also, will the w-europe map be removed when i put the turkey map?

Edit: I've already made a backup with tthome and manually.

The current Turkey map requires navcore 9.0XX or higher.

ALL of the current Western Europe maps require at least 2GB of memory.

Does this also mean that i can't purchase Turkey maps? If I can buy it, is it possible to run both Turkey and W-Europe maps or do i have to backup and delete one map first?

1. You can buy Turkey 910.4895, which is compatible with your 8042 navcore.
2. You have 2 considerations on the total number of maps that you can load on your unit. 1. Maps that are compatible with your 8042 navcore. The amount of remaining available memory after each map is installed.
