I'd like to upgrade a TOMTOM ONE XL ( with a SD card slot) of a friend of myne so , could someone can help me ?

Here the actual configuration :
DeviceName=TomTom Go
DeviceVersionHW=ONE XL
RamDiskVersion=20070709
BootLoaderVersion=529
LinuxVersion=1734
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=6594
ApplicationVersion=7940
UserLanguage=Français

I have also downloaded the map Western Europe 850.2781 (1,84go) IQ Route .

So , i need a little tutorial for the installation of new navcore and this map.I have a 2 GO SD card , is it enough ?

Ok do you have 64MB RAM ? if you do follow this tutorial and you will be fine How to update a 64mb Widescreen TomTom Device

If you have 32MB RAM Change the file in step 1 to this instead and you can follow the rest of the tutorial [Please Register or Login to download file]

Also the map you downloaded "Western Europe 850.2781" will be fine to use

Ok , it's done and it works !
I have just changed the map to 850.2834 for the 2GO SD card.
