Current mapversion is 950 - May 2015, with 955 - August 2015 coming up the coming weeks.

Latest modified navcore-version is v9.510. Look for Downunder's Universal Navcore Installer.

1. There hasn't been a Western and Central Europe map for quite a while. What is your 2nd choice?
2. You really don't need the Universal version. Go with the 9.510 version: Navcore 9.510

That's easy. No meta available.

Quite possible but you won't profit from the extra features the 9.510 navcore gives you in combination with a better map.
I would advise 6492 which has ALG. And of course this has a meta code available.

FFR, with the 9.510 navcore, you can use ANY version map, that has a meta code & that you have storage room to load it onto.
