tomtom one xl keeps trying to reboot

Got totally confused with my tomtom, all was working fine till I tried to record a voice on it, then it just kept rebooting coming to the licence screen, when you press i agree it freezes then reboots and back to the licence screeen again, I pressed reset and still the same. So I played around some more and tried differnet navcores but still the same, I have an old version of maps something like 845 cant remember the exact number as I cant see the version, oh it is truck maps, can anyone pls help? information I know about the tomtom is its an one excel 32 meg of ram.:think:

Just restore the unit back to it's "working fine" setup.

Remove everything but the map folder & copy your backup to the XL.
