Sat Jun 12, 2010 8:26 am

Hi Guys,
Can anyone please advise which is the latest NavCore to use with One XL. I am currently using 8.204 but looking for something newer. Will be grateful for your help here.

Just to share with you here, I used this version bellow on TT ONE XL , it works like a charm ;) + 8_40_2561 maps W+C Europe ;)

TomTom Navcore 8.413.1237

download: [Please Register or Login to download file]

PW: paris2k

Voices and logos are included and the ttsystem is already patched.
Also the system 5.5022 is included instead of the complete new 5.5128.
5.5128 system file is in the Navcore download link extra downloadable.
Also the TomTom Home prepatched dlls are extra downloadable.

1. Make a full backup of your TT.
2. Format the memory in following way:
Internal memory (if available): FAT32
SD Card up to 2GB with FAT, above with FAT32
3. Copy the complete content of the navcore package directly onto the TT device
4. Copy the map onto the TT device
5. Download the keygen like easytools or 4D BSB, here on forum to unlock maps
6.Unlock maps
7. Turn off the TT and press 20 sec long the reset button
8. Start the TT and reset the settings to factory default
9. Done

So, I have read contradictory information on formatting a 2 GB sd card. Mine was originally just FAT and I read that I could still format my 2 GB card to FAT32 (which I did) based on the navcore I'm trying to update to (9.051.503855).

Should I go back and re-format it to FAT or FAT16 (I'm a little confused on the difference between FAT and FAT16 because I thought that regular FAT was 16)?

Thanks.

FAT or FAT32, it makes no difference. BTW, unless there is a problem with the card, formatting is not necessary. I've never formatted a card or my 720 internal.
