TomTom One Map

Hi Guys!

I am trying to update my mothers old sat nav, shes hoping to get a new car next year with a satnav built in so don't really want to have to buy a new one. I have run the tool I have found on this forum but I am stuck from here. Here are the results

What area do you need to cover with the new map??

I'm not sure where to find the correct map for the device.

Thank you I downloaded all the files, the maps is asking for a password. Where can I find this?

Usually by reading the posting where you found the download.

I found it.. I have extracted part 2 to my desktop but when I try open part 1 (auto installer) it does nothing. Am I missing something here?

You should not extract part 2. The .exe file (part 1) takes care of all handling of part 2. Hence self extracting.

Since part 1 is an exe file, you should be able to run this file.

Just a little update, I could not open the exe file. Not sure if it was an issue with being on windows 8?..Anyway one of my kids had kindly put the satnav in our microwave for safe keeping the other half didn't notice and cooked it

Please close this thread I have a new device I will create a new thread to keep things simple.
