First you need to upgrade your navcore. 8010 is current. Let TT Home do it for you.

You can then use UK&ROI 885.4058 or 4059, your choice.

Yes. After you have upped your NC with TT Home & replaced the old map with the new map, you patch both with FastActivator Premium 1.8.8.5

If you want help but not willing to folow the instructions....
Try this:
Delete all! .dct files from the device and use FastActivate to patch and and activate - click the first three buttons starting from the left.

1. I don't see where anybody instructed you to use Albert's EA!!!

2. Could the first three buttons starting from the left mean anything else??? After you run FA, look for a .meta.dct file in the map folder. No file = no patch!!

I guess you are missing the basics here.
You ask, we give instructions, you do what you please and disregard the instructions.
Right now we are running in circles for a problem that should be solved within 5 minutes if done correctly.
There are instructions on how to install a NC if no NC is on the device.
There are instructions on how to use FastActivate.
There are instructions on how to select and install a map.
Have read any of them, and if so did you only read them or did you actually follow them?

That's why I was asking about the tutorials....
Without a ttgo.bif you won't be able to activate any map ;)

Not for nothing, but this is what I did to my friend's One XL http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?8302-8.412-Setup

EDIT: I do remember having to update his bootloader on his internal so it could read a SD card. I don't remember the version number.
If it ain't broke don't fix it!

Please do NOT post any thanks. Simply press the hand icon with the "thumb up" which is the thank you button.
