you wont get support from this forum on anything you downloaded elsewhere, but i can tell you i tried this bootloader on my device and it works just fine. when you have an sd card inserted on your particular device you need the full system on the card i.e. navcore and maps etc. only the bootloader is used from the internal flash drive. Leave the bootloader as it is and just experiment with sd cards and when you get it right go back and sort out your internal memory the same way.

A new bootloader only runs the first time a unit is booted after the new bootloader is copied to either the internal or external memory. From that point on, it is dormant.

That is because you should not need one.
For all other cases my rescue bootloader can be used to restore to the original bootloader.
Since that is included in the original Navcore....

Do you have any problems with the current BL?

Well I@m unable to write to the device reliably and that's the only thing that's changed what would you suggest.

Check my 9.485 Navcore thread very closely, especially the first posting ;)

OK Thanks downgraded the navcore to 7.9 and the bootloader now everything works with new maps.
