Hey all, total noob here but I have tried going through all the tut's and have yet to find an answer to this.

I upgraded the navcore to 8.412.1236 and the latest 865 maps of USA and Canada. But, this particular device does not say street names. Is there any way i can upgrade that?? Try a different navcore? Different voices? Everything else works great - but rather than saying "turn left ahead" I'd love it if it would say "turn left on Main st"

BTW: this is the TomTom One New Edition. 1gb of memory built in, no SD card expansion. Don't know if it helps...

Oh, and also - is there a way to get it to do traffic also? Or does that require a whole different machine?

You can get computer voices or "Vocalizer TTS" working on your ONE model. Basically you need an SE navcore (which you are already using), a Vocalizer TTS computer voice that will work with your device, and you need to edit the setconfig.txt file and delete the line "ttsoff".
