I'm travelling to the USA soon and I thought now would be a good time to update my maps (have both Australia and USA on the TT).

My current config is below, its very old.

I have a new 2GB SD card that I have restored from my original backup.

I then tried to install SE_Navcore.9.205.547817_32mb_devices (downloaded from this site), then ran AutoActivate.

From there I also ran Australia 870.3391_Installer (downloaded from this site).

New config looks like this:

ApplicationVersion=547817.1

Not Found...

However upon starting my device I do not progress past the TomTom start screen.

Please help!

There are reports of an Australia-335.meta & an Australia-336.meta file inside the Australia 870.3391 map folder. If this is the case, delete the Australia-335.meta file + the Australia-335.meta.dct file, if present and keep the Australia-336.meta file, then re-run the map patcher.

I'm a newbie at this stuff so listen to tendriver as he knows far more than me but just in case you still have the problem I think I've just solved a similar one. I have a previously patched TT XL with NZ, UK & french maps all working well, then I copied over the latest 870.3391 Australia map & used the fast activator as per normal but it never booted up fully again. It was stuck at the TT load picture. I connected to the TT home SW on my PC & tried to operate it from there but it said that none of my maps would work on the device which is why it didn't get passed the TT load screen. So I deleted the Australian map & used fast activator again & everything was ok. No idea why but it's all working fine now so I'd suggest deleting your Australian map to see if that helps.

tendriver, you were right on the money...
After deleting the two files, and re-running FastActivate to re-patch the map everything worked well...

Now to try and get the USA (North America) map to work too...
