with great help from this forum about a week agao i got help to fix my tomtom one my son yesterday for some mad reason linked the tomtom to tthome yes hes an idiot it now wont work well not fully i downloaded the 8.413 navcore bsaic pack and put it on the sd card then i got the ttsystem file to match and put that to the card and over wrote the files like it said rebooted the tomtom with the card it came on fine and said no maps found i then put on the United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland_850_2781 then used the fastactivate to patch the maps but when i put the sd card in the tomtom it just says problem with thismap you cannot use this map on this device i know its some thing ive done but could some one please refresh my mind to where im going wrong big thanks

I reccomend to you navcore 8.410, but if you want to use 8.413 that should be fine if that was what you were using before , download the navcore files again incase you have corrupt files on your pc

• Copy the contents of this to your sd card [color="Blue"]SE_Navcore_8.413.1237_basicpack.zip[/color]
  
• Now copy the contents of this to your sd card [color="Blue"]SE_ttsystem.8.413.1237.rar[/color]
  
• Now copy over your map folder United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland_850_2781
  
• Now download the newest version of FastActivate find it [color="Blue"]HERE [/color] (V 1.2.10)
  
• Copy FastActivate.exe to your sd card and run it to patch maps
  
• Done! you should now have a working unit.

Using tthome with crackd maps/software is fine, as long as you dont let it update the navcore, you can recieve mapshare corrections and QuickFixGPS corrections and anything else fine.

so i was right with the files cheers bud ill redo it see if that makes a differance

FWIW, 8.413 is a XL navcore. 8.414 is a ONE navcore.
