TOMtom One IQ Routes and Africa_885_4087 map

Hi

My TT was running just fine with NC 9.4 and Africa 880.3822. Last night i downloaded the mapupdate, copied it to my TT and got FastActivate_04.02.2012_Premium_edition_v1.8.8.1 to activate the map. When i wanted to patch the map Fas Activate saw my voices but it did not see the map folder.

I thought there must be something wrong with the map file i downloaded so i got Africa_885_4088 but i got the same thing. So i thought my NC has gone corrupt so i deleted everyting from the TT and did the whole update the NC trough TTHome. But i still get the same result.

So i ran Clear_Flash, but still i get the same result, FastActivate does not see the map folder.
Please help me, i am going on a trip tomorrow and i need to sort this out.

BTW .. what is the difference in the maps 4087 and 4088 i cant find it on the compatibility chart

If your update is a 885 map you might want to consider that not all meta codes are available yet ;)

O I thought i came out with the maps

But if you got the 885 map through an official update you can use it as it is.
If you have to activate voices or cams simply backup the .meta.dct for your map and restore it anfter everything is activated.
In case you did get an official map update to the 885 release you can also create the meta code for other users.

Downunder hit the nail on the head. The meta code has not been posted for EITHER of the maps you tried.
