TomTom One v3 no sound after Navcore 9.510

Postby robot6572 » Sat Apr 09, 2016 7:01 pm

Hi,
So decided to post this here as it seems as if there is better responses/ help here. Sorry for the double post by the way.
So I decided to breathe some life into my old One V3. I used downunder's NC 9.510 update and now my config is like this:

ttgo.bif:
DeviceName=TomTom ONE
DeviceVersionHW=ONE (v7)
DeviceSerialNumber=Y3xxxxxxxxxx
BootLoaderVersion=55001
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=9510
ApplicationVersion=1234792.1
CurrentMap=United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland
CurrentMapVersion=705.1485

Map(s):
d:\United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland\

Storage:
Size 485MB, Free 188MB

HOWEVER:
1) Which map should I download for UK and Ireland?
2) There is no sound coming out of the device; just a fuzzy sound. I have also used the soundfix option on downunders NC installer.?

Thanks

1- back up first all on the hard drive
2-delete all. go to tomtom home will suggest navcores acept. and install all, one at a time.
3-use the maps with available meta.
4-patch all with latest fast activate.
5-:)

Did you copy the voices folder from the old set-up to the new one??
I do not give help by PM. It deprives our other members of a chance to learn. Please post your issue in the appropriate forum/thread. You will get an answer.

Yes, still no sound. Just a fuzzy static kind of sound. I read somewhere that TT does that to custom navcores installed to its devices but I reinstalled the official NC's using TT Home. Now I'm screwed.

Try this navcore download
[Please Register or Login to download file]
Keep the map on the SD Card.
Unpack the navcore and place Folders and files on the one in the root.
Start the one till you get the announcement No map found or you can not use this map.
Fastactivate in the root and use it number 2
Hopefully, there is sound now

And don,t use TomTom Home

My TT doesnt have an SD card? Should I just unpack in internal storage after just keeping the maps?

You don,t have to activate the voices so that can,t be the reason that they are not working.

Try the following
[Please Register or Login to download file]
Or use Navcore 9.540.2 Installer for a soundfix
navcores-9-for-tomtom-devices-f124/navcore-540-installer-t17201.html

After installation.
2.Reset your device.
Push the reset button for at least 20 seconds.
Turn your device on.
Press the On/off button for at least 5 seconds (till the drum sound) and release button.
=================
Golden rule every time that the SD Card is taken out of the device
and later put into the device give it a reset.
