hi guys newbie here thanks for this excellent forum, my prob is have the above mentioned tomtom on aus maps and want to put uk map on tried United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland 890.4234_Installer but wrong for this device it states, (works on tomtom one) here are my device details

Some of the maps don't have a meta code yet, so you have to check the chart for a compatible map version and after that check if your region of choice if available including a code.
Since your NC only supports basic maps it might be worth to make a full backup using Windows Explorer and to use a higher NC.
Please state the error on the device correctly and keep in mind both map and Navcore need to be "patched" to work on your TT.

UK & ROI 890.4234 is compatible with ALL navcores. It has a metacode posted & is patchable & usable. The installer version will only patch the map, when it is installed. You must patch the navcore manually.

guys thanks so much patching the navcore worked the previous error said this map could not be used on this device. all working now.
