TomTom One V4

Postby glengib » Thu Jan 03, 2013 10:25 pm

I have to TomTom One V4 SatNav and I am wondering how to jailbreak it so that I can install the latest maps on it.

A friend directed me to this site but I am unsure which software to download and how I go about using it once I have downloaded it.

Could somebody please help me?

Thank you in advance. :thumbup:

Since we are speaking of TT: You can not Jailbreak a TT ;)
You might want to check the tutorial section to some general overview and basic knowledge of the term so we can proceed on a good level.

Hi again,

Firstly let me apologise for my wrong choice of words when I asked for help in jailbreaking my TomTom. I meant to ask how I could make it so as I could load newer maps onto it without having to go to TomTom for them.

Here are the results for the file that I ran.

TTGO.BIF:
DeviceName=TomTom ONE
DeviceVersionHW=ONE (v8)
BootLoaderVersion=55011
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=8010
ApplicationVersion=9369
CurrentMap=United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland
CurrentMapVersion=725.1883
TTGO.BAK:
Not Found...
TTGO.ORI:
Not Found...

Thank you again in advance. :thumbup:

You have 2 options.

1. Keep your 8010 navcore & install UK&ROI 900.4608. Then patch both with FastActivate Premium 1.8.9.0 Updated 24.12.2012.

2. Upgrade your navcore to pre-patched 9.02X or higher & install UK&ROI 900.4602. Then patch the map with FastActivate Premium 1.8.9.0 Updated 24.12.2012.
