Tendriver,

I did what you told me, patch that. TT Home now let me control the device, but it defaults to the old navcore, 8.010 and it does not recognize that my current map is Europe 865 with the IQ Route. Plus I have no voice on the device. Can you shed more light to this, please?

Thanks,

Coroiba

1. That's because you have told your device to trick TT Home into thinking the unit is running 8010, so you don't get the Invalid Navcore message.
2. Where is your map not recognized?
3. What voice are you trying to use?

Tendriver,

Sorry but I can't thank you enough for your help. The map that is not recognized is on the SD card, I have two maps, they are both 865 maps. The one that has the IQ routes is the one not been recognized by TT Home. When I use the device, everything is fine, the new navcore, with the two 865 maps, the gps works fine, minus the voice. I am trying to use any computer voice so far no dice.

Thanks,

Switch maps to the card map, then connect to TT Home.

I must have misunderstood. I thought you needed help with map recognition. I know you are concerned about no voice, but was holding back on that till these other problems were solved.
What is loaded on your internal? What is loaded on the card? What voice/voices do you have loaded & where are they loaded?

Tendriver,

Sorry to confused you, the maps are ok. Everything that you have said I did and it's working just fine. The last part would be the voices. As I said before any computer voice for me will do it.

Thanks,

Hello Tendriver,

Sorry for my long hiatus, I am back trying to solve my two last problems. Let me start with the voices. I can't have any computer voices to work on my ONE XL-S. I have the others tt standard navigation english voices but I need the computer voices, please. I just deleted the two computer voices that was on the card.
The other issue is with the internal ONE XL-S memory, every time I plug the device on my computer I get windows asking to scan and fix my internal drive, I did scan and no joy. Since I been reading that I should not re-format my internal memory, what should I do ?

Thanks,

Coroiba

1. This issue usually occurs when a TT is removed incorrectly from a computer, while the TT is still turned on.

I'm working on the voice issue.
