Tomtom on PDA Device question

Sat Feb 22, 2025 12:02 pm

hi there - i currently use a pda device with tomtom 7.910 and uk maps but obviously for quite a while now the meta codes are no longer available

i use the pda for work on a daily basis because with the tomtom on it i can enter gps coordinates on it and we use grid references to navigate to jobs

is there any way to maybe use western europe maps on it ?

or have i got to bite the bullet and buy something like a garmin nuvi 55lm where you can input coordinates ?

any feedback is welcomed

thanks in advance

Hi noentry
Tomtom 7 is dead, new maps don't work on it and pda with wince are also obsolete.
Do you have android phone? you can use the TomTom NDS 3.4.21? Works very well!

Hi noentry
You add the coordinates on the adress of your contacts (list of android contacts) like this example
name: "John Doe"
adress: 36.640539,-8.147556
As you want to navigate to John Doe, open contacts and click on coordinates. It will ask you if you want to use TomTom or Google Maps. Select TT and it will open and calculate the route. Then go!
Best regards
