i'm new to this. i Have this tomtom xl iq route. when I open it, it keeps saying no maps found.
I download a map, but don't know how to load the map in. there's no folder named map in the gpsé i'm about to cry. how do I load a map please. I searched in the tutorials on the forum, but didnt find anything.

You have no map installed.
The Navcore supports maps with all features.
Go All-New-Maps-880, select the map of your choice - check the charts for the features.
Instructions are provided within the thread, if unsure use a map with installer and follow the instructions.
You Navcore might not be patched yet, you can patch it using FastActivate

Unzip the map that you have already downloaded. It will create it's own folder. Open your XL with windows explorer. Copy your new map folder into your XL.
As Downunder suggested, go here: FastActivate Read the instructions & select the Premium version.
Run FastActivate by clicking all 4 buttons 1 at a time, going from left to right. If all is done correctly, your XL should boot to your new map.
