It is not a problem with the bootloader - only after a cold start the device will connect directly to the PC.
From standby mode the device will ask if yo want to connect during the start but this function makes problems sometimes.
If your bootloader would be screwed up your device would be a brick.

So I managed to get a new navcore on using tomtom home I updated it and it put on

DeviceVersionHW=ONE XL (v9)
DeviceSerialNumber=xxxxxx
DeviceUniqueID=xxxxxx

You do not have, nor have you had a navcore problem.

1. Please explain.
2. Please give a detailed step by step

You didn't mention patching the navcore from TT. You must have a subscription to download cams from TomTom.com, except US. Subscription cams don't need patching.

Confirm that your navcore is patched, and that you have these files in your USA & C map folder.

Safety_Cam_US_Canada_TomTom.ov2
Safety_Cam_US_Canada_TomTom.ov2.dct
Safety_Cam_US_Canada_TomTom.ov2.ver

Sat Jun 19, 2010 5:39 pm

I only have :
Safety_Cam_US_Canada_TomTom.ov2
Safety_Cam_US_Canada_TomTom.ov2.ver

I do not have a Safety_Cam_US_Canada_TomTom.ov2.dct

Your cams are not patched.

Copy the attached meta.txt into you patching tool & repatch.

You stated in post 17 that you patched the maps & they were OK. In post 20, I asked if you had patched the navcore, but I never got an answer. To use the patched cams, you must also have a patched navcore & map.

The latest meta is attached. It contains the meta for your map.
