My friend needs to purchase a few new tomtoms for his HD motorcycle tour business and was wondering if the new rider that was released in february 2013 has the network system on it or can it be patched like the earlier ones?

I am not aware of a new Rider unit being released last month. The Rider Navcore 9.500 was released last month.

Looking on the internet there was a new rider released on 14 02 2013, I was was just wondering if anyone knows the navcore and bootloader of this device and any other specifications.

The TomTom news releases on this, read like this is something new, great & wonderful for bikers. Reading the specs, it appears to be a 350 pound/530 US dollar re-release.
