No I have no suggestion. I suppose that somethink has going wrong in the past with updating.
You can run it with the 0.0001 bootloader but that is not the normal procedure. The 0,0001 downgrade the running bootloader and the 5.5022 upgrade again to the prefered bootloader.
I tried it many times on my One New edition and it works out allright.

I just found an old backup from 2009 and a system file was present back then, version 55128

I copied this system file over to the TT and rebooted - bootloader installed and now my bootloader version is BootLoaderVersion=55128

Just did the same 220meg file transfer I usually do which usually takes about 70 minutes, with bootloader version 55128 it took 9 minutes. Still get the complete pause/stop but major major improvement.

Don't know why version 5.5128 would install and then the version 5.5022/5.5112 would just give me logo flash on/off/on/off.

The 5.5128 works so you have a result.
I have the the complete pause/stop on my XL IQ LIVE to and that seems normal it is only a USB 1

I have same issue with my TT XL IQ routes. I own a TT XL with BL 5.5282 and with this device transfer speed is good between laptop and device. However with the TT XL IQ it takes 3x more time (nearly 1/2 hour) to copy a map (1.26GB) to my device. It's BL is 5.5277
I have tried to format, reconnect to TT home and reinstall the application, file transfer speed won't go up .
What is the solution in my case?
