Hi all,

Been a while since ive posted for help but here is my issue.

I managed to back-up my TomTom XL IQ Routes the other night. Left it backing up and went to bed as it was so slow. Woke up in morning to see that my computer had backed up TomTom. Later that day, (after work), I connected TomTom to pc to continue with updating, navcore and maps, but for some reason pc does not open TomTom hard drive. It shows hard drive as :F but when clicking on drive it says windows needs to format drive before you can use it? When i click format it goes through process to format but i get windows was unable to format. I've opened up TomTom home but that comes up no device connected. Does this tell me the hard drive is damaged or is there a way of recovering it?

Any help advice much appreciated.
