TomTom Start 25 Bricked

I've got a bricked TomTom Start 25 (No signs of life at all). Bricked due to restoring device in recovery mode and my computer crashed.

I've got a replacement TomTom Start 25 but wondering if I can recover my bricked device?

No that is not possible.

If it's a Start 25 from may 2011, I thought it must be possible when you're able to see it as an extenal drive

Depending when the device is launched and when you're able to see it as an extra drive
The Start 25 is on an old excell list may 2011 and I thought to remember that devices from october 2011 have to use MyDrive
But the most easy way is to know it, connect it with a computer :-)
I'm wondering how long we've to go with our stone age devices

Yes the best way is to connect the device but I may expect that TomTom know what is right.
