Hi all,

Have updated my Start50 (American unit) to run truck navcore, maps etc. Managed to successfully patch using fastactivate and also sorted the postcode issue. The only problem I can still see is when trying to switch between profiles i.e. tuck/car etc.

If I set it up to operate in the truck mode I get a screen after entering the destination which shows the truck profile and shows a change button which allows me to switch vehicle type, however if I change to car and use it as a car sat nav there is no profile screen appears after the destination planning and therefore I cant work out how to switch back to the truck profile without resetting to factory settings, meaning I lose all recent destinations etc.

Is this a software glitch or have I done something wrong?

Which truck navcore did you install?

I used nav core 9.702?

Can anyone shed any light on this please

This behaviour resembles what happens with a GO 750 when using the official 9.702 navcore.
One can only use the car profile option once. After that the option disappears and the only way to get it back is to revert to the factory settings.

Using downunder's modded trucknavcore works better on a GO 750.
