I have a XXL and I installed United_States_2GB_4438 on the GPS I run FastActivate_04.11.2012 and says ok but no map found also when I try to run TOMTOM home it tells me that it cannot find
TOMTOM Home Profile Dll not found. Any Help would be appricated.

You have a patching issue. You can eliminate it being the map by seeing a .meta.dct file in the map folder. Navcore 9.465 is current for your XXL. You have 2 options to patch it. 1. Patch it with FastActivate. 2. Use the pre-patched ttsystem file.

I do see the .meta.dct file in the map folder. Do I delete it. I also tried FastActivate that did not work also were do I find a pre-patched ttsystem file.

When I patch the ttsystem it says already patched.

1. OK, its a navcore patching problem
2. NO!!
3. 9.465 SE ttsystem.rar
4. Disregard it.

This will take care of your dll issue. Unzip this pre-patched dll folder: [Please Register or Login to download file]
Copy the folder to the correct OS location in the attachment.

I did what you said and now all I get is the TomTom splash screen going in a loop. will not start.

May I suggest to start from scratch?
It is quite possible that something is "messed up" on your device.
Since you already downloaded all you need,
delete all from the device except the folders "voices", "ephem" and "LoquendoTTS" the map folder and your ttgo.bif,
if you have a mapsettings.cfg in your map folder: delete it,
let home do the update to the 9.456,
add the SE ttsystem (unpack the archive to the root of your device,
now it should work as expected.

Got it out of the loop restored old map I went into information it says

I dont have ephem in the device. Found It

I am curious to know why you have navcore 9.051 instead of 9.465. Did you start over from scratch as suggested by Downunder??

The unit I have I had when they first came out and I never Updated it. I have it now . and the unit works but no voice. When it first starts up I get the TOMTOM but when I go into voices nothing works.

OK. Everything from post 2 down is my fault for not confirming that you actually had 9.465, the current navcore for your XXL, installed.

I have it now and the XXL is working but now I have no sound except for the start up screen.
