Hi, I have a TomTom Go classic new version purchased last year I wanted to find out if I can update the map in the myconnect I pressed to see if there were any update and now it's wiped my map out from device and can't connect to it anymore can't even add device back in its missing. When I go to start TomTom sat nav device it displays No maps you need to add at least one map before you can use your device. Does anyone know if I can recover the device because can't do anything won't connect to computer can't even reset it to factory defaults because can't get into the menu.... Thanks

It should still be covered under warranty, so you should contact TT directly so they can help you recover the device

As fredderf says, try TT themselves as it's surprisingly (not) a common fault with their devices but they are normally pretty quick at resolving things.

Just to let you all know that it's been sorted
TomTom UK was useless so I contacted TomTom USA and they wanted my device I'd and what they done was sent something to device so I could download maps again.... Excellent service from TomTom USA
