TomTom Truck files

hi tendriver,I cant thank you enough for your help,just downloaded fast activate premium edition and it fixed the files no problem at all,everything seems to be good on it now, i am off trucking tomorrow for about 300miles so will give it a good workout then.

truckmaps worked a dream thanks. can i now be cheeky and ask another question??,my mate has a go700 which has a 2.5 gig onboard memory and he wants me to put him the truck files on it for him, are there any files on the truckmap that i can safely remove to reduce the file size as i run out of space when loading the map and navcore onto it.

TomTom Map Europe Truck 845.2649 is 2.15GB. A navcore is 35 to 40 MB. There should be plenty of room on a 2.5GB HD. Your friend must have other things on his memory. 1 thing to try, before you delete anything, is loading the navcore in several batches, rather than all at once. Do the same for the map. I have done this on my unit several times. If this doesn't work for you, then Plan B.

Newbie being thick here
Just got the 840 2554 truck maps using navcore 8.396
Have patched the map fine but I keep getting the truck attribute not available on this map I think I am not patching the tmeta but cannot work out how.
used easy activator and downloaded the latest meta txt.
Any help Please

Current Truck map is Europe Truck 845.2649 2.15GB Give either of theses a go: AutoActivate 09.10.2010 {1.4} or FastActivate ENG 09.10.2010 {1.7} Read the instructions.

Thanks getting them now . I finally solved the problem I had
The problem was I had the truck map on a sd card so the patcher wasn't finding it I moved a few files ( the meta and tmeta dct files) into the existing map folder on my devices memory and patched from there it's working well now.

Thanx for the update. FFR, put a copy of your device's ttgo.bif file on the card, rather than moving files.

hi there, i am quite new to this although i am FAIRLY technically minded. Does anyone know if i can install tomtom trucks on a standard tomtom go700? i have been looking through some of the threads and its all a bit confusing about which navcore i need or maps etc. Please help!! thanks bigger dave, what do i do with the first file? the dump one, sorry to be a pain in the ass, do i need to format my drive on my tomtom and install it? or do i run it? many thanks.

After a FULL windows back, delete everything apart from your ttgo.bif file from your device (don't reformat), download the dlc, use jdownloader to grab the dump from Fileserve, extract everything from the downloaded dump and copy everything to your internal memory, download/extract & add the new Europe_Truck map folder, add that to your device then use one of the cracking/patching tools to crack the map (which will add a meta AND a tmeta file inside the map folder)

a) The VAST majority of us round here and other Tomtom forums don't like/use/trust/rely on torrents
b) Only maps downloaded direct from links here are supported/trusted/reliable
c) If you REALLY want to find a torrent then a google search would probably come up with something but who knows what's in it/missing etc?
