tomtom truck navcore on tomtom XL v9

Hello everbody,

please if somebody has expirience with runing tomtom truck navcore 8.396 on TT XL V9 , and what's expirience with TT truck navcore 8.396 on this device?

I found this navcore here

and in description some info like it's possible to run on TT XL ?

OR maybe to use this navcore for TT XL V9 - 32MB ?

Self for all other devices - note that the Truck Navcore might not fully work on 32mb models!

or maybe isn't good idea to use TT navcore 8.396 on TT XL V9 (32mb RAM), cause not enough RAM, and maybe it will lag ?

Another thing, what's latest official navcore for TT XL V9 , is that 8.081, cause i found this info for this device in ttgo.bif file

Does your unit have a SD Card slot? If NO, then you can not run a truck setup.

Unfortunately it doesn't have SD CARD slot, just internal memory - 2 GB. I didn't want to run some automatically truck setup, i would try on old way installation, with formating internal memory, and copy-paste content of navcore 8.396, or for navcore 8.396 is obligatory SD CARD ?

The navcore is not the issue. ALL of the Truck maps are over 2GB & require at least 4GB of storage memory.

BTW, we never recommend formatting any memory, except in a few sever cases.

Yes :) , you are right i forgot that Truck maps Europe are 2.09 GB :) , sorry my fault... I understand your question about SD CARD slot now :) ...

I though on deleting content of storage memory for uploading new navcore on device ;) ... Please if you know, tell me what's latest officialy navcore for TT ONE XL V9 , is that 8.081 or 8.010 ?

Don't delete the navcore. The latest Official is whatever TT Home offers you.
