hi new to the site which i find very interesting just bought a tom tom go live 1000 just wondering if i can find the truck softwhere for it cheers gary

The 1000 is not a good choice for the Truck.
There is a modified version available that can run on a X50 but you can not copy any files onto a 1000 at this point in time.
So installing a different Navcore will be impossible apart from the fact that the Navcore won't work on the device.

No, there isn't a Truck navcore for the 1000.
