UK & ROI 955.6745 does not have a posted meta code, so it is not usable. Use UK & ROI 955.6801 instead.

It is the exact same problem. 6803 does not have a posted meta code either, so it is also not usable.
A meta code is a file required to patch a map.

You haven't done much preparation by reading here or giving us information about your device and/or performed activities.
But clearly you have done something wrong or have omitted something.
Can you give additional info and exact errors?

You are not giving us essential information about your device.
But did you also patch the navcore? Without a patched navcore you will never succesfully activate a *EDITED* 'non-official' *EDITED* patched map. Even with meta code.

To avoid confusion, a patched navcore is not required to successfully activate any map. It is required to use an activated/patched map!!

Sure you can. Connect you XL to your puter. Open Windows Explorer, open drive F: that your XL is located on. Open your ttgo.bif file with notepad, and you will see ALL of the info about your unit.
Open the map folder. If there is a .meta.dct file in the map folder, then your map is patched. If your map is patched, put a copy of FastActivate.exe in the root of your unit & run option 3. This will patch your navcore, & you should be good to go. If your map is not patched [no .meta.dct file], put a copy of FastActivate.exe in the root of your unit & run option 2 & 3. This will patch your map & navcore, & you should be good to go.

Hi, I've been following this thread as I have a similar problem with a ONE XL HDT. The map I want to use is United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland_955_6801 which has United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland-100465.meta.dct in the folder. I used DSA to update the Navcore with navcore_8.011.9373.HDT.cab which seemed to be successful, but the info in ttgo.bif does not change from the original 7301/8636 and if I operate the device via Tomtom HOME I get message 'Problem with Map' 'You cannot use this map on this device'
The device just displays the Tomtom logo then switches off and can only be revived by pressing the reset button. Also a ttgo.bif file is not created automatically when the device is restarted.
I must be doing something wrong somewhere, so any help will be much appreciated.
