TomTom Via 120 Live vs Go 820 Live

Postby T-Man » Fri May 25, 2012 9:28 pm

Today I bought a TomTom Via 120 Live bundle. On opening the package there was a note saying that they had replaced the Via 120 Live with a G0 820 Live due to stock shortages.

How do the two compare?
From what I could see the 820 only has 2 GB of RAM versus the 4GB of the 120. [Please Register or Login to download file]
The 820 also seems a bit heavier and bigger than the 120.
Which one is newer?

The final question is, did I score on the deal or not?

The Via 120 Live has been officially replaced the GO 820 Live. They are basically the same device. GO 820 Live Europe has 4GB internal memory. The Australian & New Zeland version 820 has 2GB of internal memory. All 3 versions have a card slot.
