TOMTOM XXL 550

I've just formatted my TOMTOM XXL 550 so what is my next step? finding the correct navcore?
Also if I let TOMTOM HOME update my TOMTOM does that mean it has the latest navcore, if so which one?
I cant check on my TOMTOM because I do not have a map and It wont let me go any further than the setup screens.

1. We NEVER recommend formatting a device or SD/SDHC card, except in the most severe situations.
2. Yes, 9.510 is current for your XXL.
3. OK.

If you update via TTHome, it will offer a couple of application versions (navcore), it will make the device perform a restart after each higher version.
In your case you'll end up with navcore 9.510.

Your TT won't start up far enough for you to see but you can inspect your device from within TTHome for installed elements and versions.
