TomTom XXL

Hi
I have one big problem with my TomTom
I tried to update my maps.. I formatted the device under Windows.. but the files were coping too long..so I downgrade the bootloader to the 0.000 version ( One time It helped with TomTom GO) .. but now the LCD i white.. I can hear that everything Is ok .. I have a smaller LCD from TomTom GO - It works perfect! So i bought new LCD to my model.. but It's white too! :/
I tried three LCD's .. The same reactions.. Some ideas? :022:

1. We NEVER recommend formatting a device or SD/SDHC card, except in the most severe situations.
2. We NEVER recommend changing the bootloader, except in the most severe situations.
3. What is the connection between point 3 & points 1 & 2?

And remind me to steer clear from that place.

Upgrade guide ? Im using TomTom home to upgrade.. I have upgraded hundreds of tomtom by formating drive and using tt home.. but that one dontwant to live.. only white screen.. on that lcd.. but connecting smaller lcd from tomtom go 4.3' everything is ok ..

2. My apologies, but your steps taken & questions asked were more on a noob level, rather than expert level.
3. Based on your posts, it appears that you have a hardware problem, not a software issue.
