TOMTOM 9.XXX patcher?

TOMTOM 9.XXX patcher?

Postby Mentalpen » Thu Jul 21, 2011 7:51 am

i have a tomtom one iq routes edition with mapshare.

tomtom home will not update mapshare unless i update to 9.053 which is the current version or my device.

if i upgrade my map will not work, i have tried patching the map using various tools (easyusetools, tomtom keygen 2009 & easyactivator) none of which will work.

i wish to keep my own navcore files so need a patcher but can't find a working one.

ideally i wish to put my tomtom back to its original state, update, patch, then add a map and patch that.

anyone point me towards one please.

You need a meta.txt with the correct codes for your map, or enter them yourself.
Using outdated tools does not help ;)
Try using our FastActivate - follow the instructions provided.
Install the Navcore of your choice, add a map, voices and so on,
start FastActivate and klick all buttons, starting from the left.

1. Correct.
2. Certainly the map will work after you patch 9.053.
3. They ALL work, if used correctly.
4. See answer 3.
5. This makes no logical sense at all.

i'll try fastactive thank you.

i've used all the others correctly from past experience but they are just saying that they are already patched but the map will not patch but patches fine of i go back to 8.XXX

the reason i want my own navcore is none i have download are the same as mine and have different files and folders to mine.

perhaps tomtom does not delete obsolete files and thats why.

anyway thank you.

1. Before you can patch a 870.xxxx map with one of the older "patchers", you must first update the meta.txt file associated with that "patcher". The FastActive meta.txt file is up to date. I don't understand this comment: but patches fine of i go back to 8.XXX Does it refer to maps or navcores? BTW, you can only patch a navcore that is officially designed for your unit, ie 9.053. For a navcore not designed for your unit, you must use a pre-patched version.

2. If you copy a new navcore over the top of your own existing navcore, overwriting any common files, you should not lose your files and folders. What is you current navcore?

3. What obsolete files are you referring to?

4. You are Welcome.

1. i meant the other patches would not patch navcore 8.xxx anyway i put my origional navcore back on and updated and patched it so its ll good again.

2. my current navcore is now 9.053

3. i was referring to the navcore downloads for the same device on here having different files to mine and wondering why, i was assuming that mine had obsolete files from previous version where as the pre patched ones on here are clean installs of 9.053

OK. Bottom line is your device is running & you are a "happy camper".

end of yes i'm happy and done lol.

Thanks again for your help.
