Patching is one problem the other more severe is the possible loss of functions, including the remote.
I do not recommend experimenting with this Navcore.
The bootloader is locked now so it only accepts original Navcores from TT for the installation and as access to the internal memory system is impossible there is a high risk of messing it up.
Once messed up neither TT nor your dealer will help as they only push you from one to the other.
