Postby Remmert » Mon Nov 27, 2017 7:05 pm

Hello i have a question that is asked many times but no matter what i do what ajustments i make no result.
I have navcore 9.510 on a tomtom one new edition with sd slot.
I have read the black screen with the calibration sequence that says 91 900 130 874.
If i press on the far top of the screen i can select the option below
it does not matter what i change no change result in placing the finger near the desired button.

There is a calibration tool that should be able to help you with this:

Thank you for your fast reply, fredderf.

I think the question is asked several times
I red a lot of forum messages but failed to find the calibration tool (even in the original sticky post).
I'm glad you took the time to send the link.
I going to give the tool a try.

many thanks from me.

Remmert.

When you restart the device...scroll through your menus until you see a calibrate icon

Have you find the calibrar icon otherwise give it another try.
After that you can always trow it in the canal.

Download and unpack
9.510 calib.zip
Read the 9.510_Calib.txt file
[Please Register or Login to download file]
========
Main Menu 4 of 4
Tap skin Chooser
You got the calibration screen.
If you are lucky you can calibrate
After calibration, you got the screen with 25
Tap dubbel on this screen and the TT restart.
Hopefully, everything works.

Hey hello i have found the 4 of 4 menu now
The only problem i have now is no matter where i tab on my screen i cant select the caibrar icon
I had the luck that the screen selected the calibrar icon by itself used the crosshair to point out the parts of the screen but it didn't help at all.

i think this topic can be closed for now.
i will start an new topic on swapping screen and digitizer from a working tomtom if it's possible.

Thank you for your help and patience :023: :023: :023: :023: :023: :023: :023: :023: :023: :023: :023:

I don´t know which TomTom you have but I have the One
When I start the One then I click on the screen en then 2 times on the arrow right and on mainmenu page 3 is the calibrar icon
Click on the icon and a black screen open with a small cross, click the cross and a new cross appear and click that cross. So you have to click 5 times on the cross
Then the TomTom restart again and it should work. Save the cal.txt on your computer just incase it happen later again

In my case calibrar work for some days :022: and after a few days it did not work again so I calibrate manual
Replacing the cal.txt did not help in my case so I re-calibrate many time again and everytime I get new numbers
For example in september it was 993 287 937 111 and today I had to calibrate it again and now it is 952 354 878 208

The problem is that I press where the calib icon is but
The spot where the icon is cannot be reached
I have copied and renamed the icon file with different names so i have six calib icons on my screen but that does not help either

I have changed the navcore so the calibrar icon is on the middle line. Give it a try maybe you are lucky.

[Please Register or Login to download file]

The calibrar can only used once so if you want to try it a second time you have to install the navcore again.
