transfering saved positions

does anyone know how to transfer my old save positions/places after navcore and map updates, ive backed up my tt one v2 2nd edition sdcard first just need a little help n point me in the right direction and file there saved in cheers nik:crazy:

Copy the MapSettings.cfg file from the old map folder to the new map folder.

cool thnx for this info. And with a capital 'A' JUST A THOUGHT since ive been playing around with different b-loaders n-cores & maps for the month to see which config i like is they anyway or merging these MapSettings.cfg files or opening them n extracting wot ive saved before? cheers nik

i have tomtom one v2 what loader core and map have you settled on im running this at minute

hi dude this is the system ive settled on for now before i go changing it all over again, runs very smooth

DeviceName=TomTom ONE

CurrentMap=Western_and_Central_Europe_875_3615

if you can pass me other ideas, they'll all be soaked up n tried, since ive got 3 sd cards i keep playing around

There is an old program "POIEDIT" that can open your mapsettings.cfg and save the locations as a POI file.
This way you are independent from the mapsettings and can even use your locations on other devices.
