Anyways: Worked for me!

Exited TT HOME from icon in process area. Cleaned my TT XL, kept the ttgo.bif and the voices-folder (although nothing really in there, must have fiddled a little to much with it earlier). Copied the TT Truck files to my SD-Card (labeled 2 GB, actual space 1,88 GB after formatting), copied FastActivate. Ran it from the SD card, ran option 1 to 4 and 6, no probs, all went well. Restarted the TT HOME, i connected, but complained about illegal software and prompted me to send information to Tomtom anonymously, of course I dodn't! Was able to update the QuickGPSFix anyways. Tried to patch TT HOME again while having it running, it worked, now I can get Mapshare updates and no notice about illegal software!

I'm having the arrow in the map, just like mentioned in another post, haven't figured out how to get rid of it, if pressed, only a blank screen appears.

I'm wondering a little about the missing of POI's. None in there, do I need to get them myself? Or did something go wrong, during the installation?

Otherwise, works like a charm, map is updated, even the one year old A8 around the corner is there! Showed broads blocked for trucks and mapped routes for large vehicles.5510

Got rid of the arrow in the settings...

The arrow should be fixable in the quick menu preferences.
As for the POI's, they have been removed so the stuff will fit on 2GB
There is still a little bit of room left, so you can add a few, but if you use a SD anyway I would have downloaded the full Truck map

1. Why are you using this truck navcore/map combo for 2GB devices, when you can put the FULL truck navcore/map combo on a 4GB SDHC card, as Downunder alluded to in post 17??
2. There is no need to do anything with TT Home until after you complete the device update. Getting mapshare updates has nothing to do with whether TT Home is patched or not!!
3. You can eliminate this issue by putting the FULL truck navcore/map combo on a 4GB SDHC card, as previously stated.

Can't wait to try this out, having used your 9.450 with new map on a 32mb device.

I've never got Igo Truck to work properly, so just muddled by without.

Hopefully this'll work on my 32mb TT One.

(I'm just having a nightmare with File Factory, won't let me sign in to premium even though I'm paid up, just keeps taking me back to the sign-in page).

EDIT: Because I'm impatient I signed up for Usenet.nl, so I could download the whole lot in one go. Now when I sign in there it takes me to the main page, not back to the download link. If I go back to the download link (when I'm still logged into usenet on another page), clicking the link takes me back to the Usenet signup page.

Totally confused and £20 down

All I can say is : My files are hosted at Filefactory not on the Usenet.
If you would have got a daypass for FF you would have the files, same for using Jdownloader with CaptchaBrotherhood or similar captcha solvers.

I'm paid up with FF, but if I follow the link in this thread, it goes to the download page, when I sign in there it just skips straight back to the same page, doesn't acknowledge my subscription. I can open a separate page and log in there, but then I can't get back to the original link.

On the download page (with the 6 parts), there's an option to download all parts in one go, that takes me to the Usenet page.
