1. Download & unzip the truck map.
2. Put FastActivate Latest Update & a copy of your device's ttgo.bif file in the unzipped map folder.
3. Run FastActivate option 2 to patch the map.

1. Actually it is easier done than said!
2. Post 2 is in sequential order.
3. Post 2 also serves as a tutorial. What part of it don't you understand?

Maps are device specific, & require a copy of the device's ttgo.bif file in order for FastActivate to make a map usable. You have done all that you can do, until you have a device in hand.

1. So exactly, I mean u have to buy a tomtom first, to use our free service.
2. We have been doing this for quite a few years. AFAWK, we have never screwed up a members device!!
3. Any map that you get ANYWHERE, EXCEPT FROM TOMTOM, HAS TO BE ACTIVATED USING DATA FROM THE DEVICE'S TTGO.BIF FILE. People selling sd cards for tomtom, must get from the buyer, the same data to activate the map before shipping it to you.
They sell to you, what we offer for free + with support.

This is quite simple to do. Put a map, FastActivate.exe & a copy of the ttgo.bif file from your brother's unit on the card.
Run FastActivate option 2 to patch the map. Look for a .meta.dct & a .tmeta.dct file in the map folder to confirm that the map is patched.

2 items of concern.
1. Some devices can use the navcore on the internal memory to run a map on a SD card & some require a navcore to be on the SD card also.
2. The truck map requires a 4GB or larger SDHC card. Bootloader 5.5012 or higher is required to use a SDHC card.
