Yeah it is patched as I downnloaded one that does it it's self. Them two files are in the Europe truck

It does sound like you now have a cracked truck map so you could just try my alternative x50 navcore dump if the one you're trying doesnt work.

OK, so you have a .meta file & a .meta.dct file, also a .tmeta file & a .tmeta.dct file in the 880 map folder, for a total 4 files?

I don't know about 4 of them. I know got two for def. But the map with patch installer does them 4 it's self don't it

1. The truck map comes with a .meta file & a .tmeta file. The map patcher creates a .meta.dct file & a .tmeta.dct file. If you don't have all 4 of these files, then your map is not patched & you get the "can not use this map on this device" message.

2. If everything is done correctly, then Yes it does 2 of them. Since you are getting the "can not use this map on this device" message, a visual check of the map folder for all 4 files is the quickest & easiest way to know if the map is patched or not.

I won't known for while now she took sat nav off me and reaped it for Christmas lol. Have any one got the 950 on here working with a truck map then. Have you done it before? On theory it should work but have u seen it work?

All I know personally is that my x50 SE dump (which works just fine; over 12 x50's done to date) was based upon downunders intitial test-bed and tweaked to create the full dump

And you have seen it work using the truck map?

If it does not work, Navitotal will not post it!!!!!

When you get your 950 back, the first thing you need to do is confirm that the map is properly patched by seeing the 4 meta files in the map folder.

After looking in the map I have got truck.PBS 1 kb. 463.meta 347 kb. Meta.dct 1kb. Tmeta 37kb. Tmeta.dct. 1kb. Is this right as that still don't work. I sure all files people said are there

Right I fixed the problem and I got it working. For future reference for you all. You must delete the north America map it has with it as that only has 2 of the files needed and it must be reading them also.

1. Yes that is right. Then you have other user issues.
2. For future reference, having 2 maps installed is not a problem.
3. You are Welcome.

Yep, same with the 15sec switch off. A bit slower than my 930 but works ok.
