Some rumors and threads mention that this NC isn't appropriate and doesn't take all truck restrictions into account.
which ones ,try to be as specific as you can cos all info helps.

Hi,
I found this one, which was refereed by most of the posts.
I checked one some known low bridges and NC 9.700 always suggested the right route... So I supposed that I was not concerned... And made the above post.
Then I had time this afternoon to try to reproduce the mentioned bug: Look for 'Guilhabreu' to find the place... There is more than one Trofa in Portugal.
Guess what: I had exactly the same problem as Pesado...
So my conclusion is that NC9.700 seems to work most of the time... But not as much as 8.398, at least in this particular place.
I will stick with the old NC, at least at night and low visibility, when you might miss this bloody height limitation...
Hope it helps

1. Thanx, we are aware of this. The map/navcore charts are being updated with this.
2. Thanx. We look forward to seeing your test results.

Just run 2 tom tom go 530 for a week, both with Europe_TRUCK_900_4612 but one with 9.700 and one with previous navcore.
The newer navcore seems to be off on timing,
A 2 1/2 hour journey set using old navcore can be about right give or take upto 10 minutes.
same journey using the 9.700 navcore shows a time of 1/2 hour longer and reduces to nearer the correct timing as you travel.
as said tried it all week with about 30 trips tested.
For me i think i will revert to previous navcore as there seem to be more losses than gains in the 9.700 and the user interface in previous version seems a tad easier .l.
Just my opinion is all but TD or DU will have a far better understanding than I.

Maybe the problem is solved in the 905 map?
There must be a reason why the 905 does not work on the 8.398

Are you using the 9.700 pre-release or the official release??
Europe_TRUCK_905_4798 meta codes have been posted, so it is now usable.

What would be the difference between official and pre?
Content is the same as TT was just a bit slow to update the server for the download.

I have tested your Version i think that was pre Version and i was having Problem woth voice, first Show only few voices and when you want to choose and test some voice you can't here anything.
With official release was everything okay.

It depends on the device you use and the emulation.
There is no difference in the files I used compared to the official Cab.
But all that counts is that you got it working now ;)

After 500 KM driving in Germany i didn't see any Problem with Navcore or with map.
With previous Version was Problem with one Exit, always Navigation goes to wrong Exit becase there is one for left and one for right.
Probably today i'll go there to test and will post everything that i see or that Navigation does.

Europe TRUCK 905.4798 and 9.700
Actually got the map today, was a slight problem with voices,i.e kate showed in the voice sub menu but was silent in actual commands. solved this by deleting the voice folder and copying a voice folder from a previous set up,that worked fine.
As for the mapping ,the infamous Dartford tunnel northbound showed only one truck restriction and that was easily altered.
Will be out and about with it on Thursday going around Birmingham and telford so should have a reasonable crack at it.

So, what's the conclusion? NC 9.7 or 8398? I'm installing for the first time.
