Truck Navcore for GO940 Live

Postby sverige » Sun May 16, 2021 10:59 am

Hi

I have a 750 and 940 with on both navcore 9.702 but sometimes the 940 went in a loop and won´t start up.
It just happen again and I took out the sd card, start it up again and then it start up with navcore 9.5xx without any problem
Then I switch off the 940 and push in the sd card again and then it start up without any problem.
Does anyone know what the problem can be ?
Is 9.702 OK for this 940 or should I use 9.701 ?

9.702 is the correct/latest NAV2 truck navcore so try runing clearflash.exe 3 times allowing a reboot between each run:-

Thanks I will give it a try
By the way on both TT works 1070-10903 and 10904 so NAV2 and NAV3. Are both correct for the GO750 and 940 ?
What is the difference with 1070-10905 ?

Both those devices should be able to run those NAV2/NAV3 maps but the 10905 is only for the newer NAV4/NAV5 devices

Both the Go 750 & 940 are NAV2's so it should be obvious that you need to use NAV2 maps on both of them...we've had this same conversation a few times now

1070.10903 = NAV2 Ok
1070.10904 = NAV3 map (can be used but you need to remove the erroneous files from within before use as discussed previously with Holyhead)
1070.10905 = NAV4 map (unsuitable)

You keep making the same mistake and download the wrong map. The compatibility chart is posted in several places around the forum and at the bottom it clearly details which is a NAV1, 2 & 3 maps. So being as you have 2 x NAV2 devices, it would make sense to refer to the chart and download NAV2 maps and you shouldn't have any more problems. You should only use a NAV3 map IF there are no NAV2 maps available that suit your purpose, and even then you need to remove the erroneous file before you install it to your device.

In post #1 you were asking about a problem with a bootloop

So I point out the erroneous files inside a NAV3 map

Now in post #6 you say that NAV2 & 3 maps work fine?

Yes correct, when the 940 start without a loop the NAV3 maps work fine but sometimes it went into a bootloop but not always.
Right now it start correctly with truck NAV3 map so no problem but this morning when I put the truck map on the sd card it went into a bootloop.
I format the sd card and put the 702 navcore on the sd card and the NAV3 maps but again a bootloop
I did a reset and it start up correctly
I am just courious why it won´t start at the first time ? I thought it was a damage sd card or incorrect navcore for the 940 but did not think about the map

Ok, a couple of suggestions:

Did you remove the erroneous files from the NAV3?
Does it still bootloop if you use the NAV2 truck map?

I have not remove anything and it starts normally but after I connect the 940 to my PC to check for the erroneous files and I disconnect it again it went into a bootloop.
Resetting will not help so I took out the sd card and start it and it start with navcore 9.541 with Europe 980.7895 map
Then I put in the sd card and restart it and it works fine.
I have not try it with the NAV2 map
