Has anyone manage to install a Truck Map on a TT GO v2. If so I would appreciate some details on which Navcore and best Map if possible. Of course that is if it is at all possible. Hopfully there is a genius out there somewhere !!!. Thanks

Thanks tendriver for the info. I have tried a few truck navcores such as 8.392, 8.398, 9.701(go-work),9.702 together with various maps 920,925, 930 etc. However I load the navcore onto a clean SD Card then insert into the Device to generate the ttgo file but it does do it, it produces a install.bif file only. I am assuming that as the TT-ONE is one of the older type with 32mb RAM it is not compatible !!!!
It works okay with the normal navcores and maps. So it looks like I shall have to look out for a TT-520 or 720 etc. I have kept your info for future, THANKS.

1. All truck maps, 905.XXXX & higher, require navcore 9.700 or higher.
Current truck map : 940.5999. I suggest you combo it with Downunder's 9.701 navcore: navcores-9-for-tomtom-devices-f124/navcore-701-truck-t13049.html
2. This combo needs a 4GB SDHC card, which requires bootloader 5.5012 or higher. You can use the ttgo.bif file from your normal navcore and map set-up.

Tendrivers advice is sound, this combination works fine. The only problem i've ever had is making computer voice work, i just use vocalizer voice Serena which works great. Just make sure you use the modified navcore for 32mb devices

An installer for the new 9.702 Navcore will be available later today, it includes a version for the 32mb models as well.
