Trying to update an old Go 720

Fri Mar 25, 2022 4:48 am

Hi
If you have time:
I am a new user trying to update an old go720. I have a 9.5 navicore and am currently using an 8.5 map: North America 2GB.
I added new maps on an SD card, after patching with FastActivate several 10xx.11308 series; the maps will not open: 'You cannot use this Map' then lists the name and meta number. NAV2 G0 is listed as compatible. What might be wrong?
Kasey/

Do a full backup of your current setup > download the new 9.541 navcore and extract it straight over the top of your current setup (replacing all files it asks about) > re-patch it with FastActivate option 3

Extract the new maps onto the SD card > also a copy of ttgo.bif taken from the internal drive > and a copy FastActivate.exe > run FastActivate from there to activate the maps

What's the result?
