how do i patch it and surely that wouldnt stop the sat nav booting would it

Put FastActivate Premium & a copy of your device's ttgo.bif in the map folder & run it from there.

OK have tried everything and getting no where fast lol

step by step what should i do should i to get the navcore working with uk maps to start or just do a clean install and have no map on ther and see if it boots up that way
what order should i do things in

please please help its driving me crazy

Work with the SD card only.

Put a navcore, a map folder, a copy of your device's ttgo.bif & FastActivate Premium on the card. Run FA by clicking the first 3 buttons, 1 at a time, left to right. Put the card in the unit & boot it.

althoug its a truck navcore does it have to be a truck map just to see if it boots ok

Does not matter, the truck NC will accept normal maps too.

OK formatted SD and going to try and put the navocre straight on to that and a map and copy ttgo over to the sd and run fast activate and then boot is this correct

That is correct. 1 comment. We never suggest formatting, except in the most sever cases.

OK done the format of SD card and then placed the navcore 8398 on ther and then map and copied over the ttgo run fast activate and got a meta.dct in the root again so rebooted and again its hanging on the tomtom boot screen
