TTactivator and Rlink problems

Wed Jun 12, 2024 9:59 pm

My XLOne has nc 9.541 and currently using Maps UK_ROI 1105_11755 and Canada_Alaska 1085_11364. Both operate without any issues and kept up to-date with UK post codes. All on a 4g sd card

Installed the TTactivator on a 8g sd card in my laptop, do I need to use the activator in the actual TT device as whatever I select. It tells me I'm not connected to the internet, yet I am.

Also tried to download Rlink, telling me the bayfiles dont exist.

Help please

TTactivator should be working on your PC although FastActivate still works fine too

Bayfiles is down permanently

I've always used FastActivate for new maps, postcodes and satellite settings etc.

I'm trying to use TTacitivater to find a suitable 1125/1130 map for UK_ROI for my device and a 'TTPKG.file has been downloaded.

thks

This will show compatible (with your device/navcore) maps maps-v1xxx/compatible-chart-v1130-nav-maps-t23761.html
This will show all available (& necessary) meta codes maps-v1xxx/meta-codes-1130-t23759.html

Thanks all sorted,
Had to delete the meta file in the old map file, then used FastActivate to update otherwise the new map showed a dct error.

This is when I get boring and say, NOW is the time to do a full Windows backup of your device/SD card(s) etc
